The postpartum period is defined as a time after the birth of baby; not necessarily viewed as a negative stage post-birth. This time is a special time & deserving of a sensitive approach. A doula focuses on the needs of the new parents & newborn offering practical assistance and emotional support. This enables better recovery & increased confidence in life's new challenges and transitions.
